What design software do we use?
We use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign. For web-based designs, we use Figma and Sketch. At a client’s request, we’ve built several websites on Squarespace and utilize AI for product mockups and pitches.

What is the fiscal benefit of subscription design service?
Compensation for an in-house senior designer can easily exceed 10k a month, and that doesn’t account for any lag in the workflow. Subscription design services cost less per month and allow you to pause your subscription when needed.

What is the typical project completion time?
We’re known for our speed, but never at the cost of quality. Small projects and edits can be turned around within 24-48 hours. Large presentations can take a week. We often recommend test prints for event deliverables but always strive to use time in an efficient manner.

What if there is a project conflict?
We overcome project conflicts by maintaining open communication and revising designs based on client feedback until complete satisfaction is achieved. Our commitment to perfection ensures we work diligently and collaboratively, making necessary adjustments to meet and exceed client expectations.

Do you offer refunds?
Due to the extensive time and dedication we invest in our design projects, we do not offer refunds. This policy ensures we can consistently provide the highest quality service and maintain our commitment to client satisfaction.

Do you provide all the design files and assets upon project completion?
Absolutely! This is our standard practice, along with providing fully editability design files like presentations, collateral, and event signage. We will also provide any required licensing for assets purchased on your behalf.

What if we only have one or two design requests?
That’s okay and quite common. Pause your subscription when your projects are complete, and save the remaining days in your monthly billing cycle until you need them. For example, if you complete the work you need done in 14 days, then pause your subscription and use the additional 17 days whenever you need them.

What design services don't you provide?
We don’t provide custom illustrations, animation, fabrication, 3D modeling, or packaging. We’d be happy to work in tandem with someone who does if you want to loop them in!

What recent projects are you particularly proud of completing?
Two of our favorite 2024 projects include a sleek, modern eBook for a venture capital leader and a comprehensive rebrand for a fitness trainer, featuring a stunning photoshoot on a white sandy beach. Both clients entrusted us with significant creative freedom, allowing us to craft designs that truly enhanced their brands.

How does a client submit a design request?
We use a customized Trello board to ensure a seamless project management experience by using a customized Trello board, allowing clients to easily submit and track their design requests. This streamlined process provides clear visibility and efficient communication with chat features, flexible file types, and links to external assets like Google Slides or Loom videos.

How do I pause my subscription?
If you wish to unsubscribe from our subscription services, simply send an email to info@labaagency.com. Please note that your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be fully terminated. We will send an email confirmation once your cancellation request has been processed. There are no additional fees for canceling.

Who are our designers?
While Brenna King, our founder and lead designer with over 10 years of experience, primarily leads our design efforts, we also collaborate with several dedicated independent designers and writers working remotely across the USA and Europe. Additionally, a big thank you to our accounting and sales support for their invaluable contributions.
